ZO® Chemical Peel
3‑Step Medical Peel: Advanced Acne, Pigment & Texture Solution in Newport Beach
What Is a Chemical Peel?
What Can a Chemical Peel Treat?
- Acne and acne scarring
- Clogged pores and blackheads
- Sun damage and age spots
- Hyperpigmentation and melasma
- Uneven tone and texture
- Fine lines and early signs of aging
How It Works
ZO® Peels use a professional-strength blend of exfoliating acids—including salicylic, lactic, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA)—to trigger controlled peeling and remove damaged skin cells.
Think of it like a deep reboot for your skin’s surface:
- The acids loosen the bonds between dead skin cells
- Your skin responds with accelerated cellular turnover
- New, healthy skin rises to the surface
This process also stimulates collagen, smooths texture, and restores moisture balance—leaving your skin clearer, brighter, and more resilient with minimal downtime.
ZO® Chemical Peel Benefits
Brighter Skin, Fast
That post-peel glow is real. Within a few days, dullness is replaced with a noticeable boost in clarity, brightness, and smoothness. It’s not just a refresh—it’s a reveal.
Pore Detox Like No Serum Can Do
Forget surface-level clean. ZO® peels penetrate deep into pores to dissolve oil buildup, shrink pore appearance, and keep congestion at bay.
Even Tone Without the Guesswork
From melasma to post-acne marks, our chemical peels help fade stubborn pigmentation by accelerating cell turnover and targeting discoloration at the source.
Smoother Texture You Can Feel
If your skin feels rough, bumpy, or uneven, this is your fix. Peels help resurface the skin’s texture—no gritty scrubs required.
Preventative Aging, On Your Terms
You don’t have to “look your age.” Chemical peels help stimulate collagen, softening fine lines and supporting long-term skin resilience.
Works Behind the Scenes
One of the best parts? Your skin keeps improving in the days and weeks post-treatment. It’s a compounding return on radiant skin.
Chemical Peel Treatment Process: What To Expect
Before
It starts with a consultation. We assess your skin’s needs, talk about your goals, and choose the ideal ZO® peel for your skin type and concern. You may be advised to avoid retinoids, exfoliants, or sun exposure 3–5 days before your peel to prep your skin.
During
Your provider will cleanse and prep your skin before applying the chemical solution in layers. You might feel a mild tingling or warmth—totally normal and short-lived. The whole process typically takes 30–45 minutes, and many clients say it feels more like a “spicy facial” than anything intense.
After
Depending on the peel strength, your skin may feel tight, look pink, and start to flake or peel 2–3 days later. This shedding is completely normal and usually lasts up to 7 days. You’ll receive a custom aftercare plan, including gentle moisturizers and SPF, to protect your fresh skin as it heals.
Results Timeline
- Immediate: Brighter, tighter-feeling skin within a few days
- 1–2 weeks: Reduced breakouts, smoother tone and texture
- Ongoing: Collagen stimulation and continued improvements for weeks
Many clients schedule a series of peels every 4–6 weeks for optimal results. Your provider will help you build a plan that fits your goals and your lifestyle.
Is a Chemical Peel Right For Me?
Chemical peels are safe and effective for most skin tones and types—but personalization is key. At Beyond Restore, your treatment is tailored to your skin’s unique needs and sensitivities.
You may be a great candidate if you:
- Have acne, pigmentation, or uneven tone
- Want smoother texture without intensive downtime
- Are ready for medical-grade results with a custom touch
Peels may not be recommended if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, on certain medications, or have highly sensitive skin. That’s why we always recommend starting with a personalized consultation.
