PRP is made by drawing a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. The OMG-Shot is our PRP injection for intimate areas. The PRP is placed into the vaginal and vulvar tissue.

How an OMG-Shot Visit Works
1. Blood Draw
We draw a small amount of blood from your arm, much like a routine lab test.
2. Preparing the PRP
Your blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma.
3. Numbing and Injection
For comfort, we offer topical numbing, Pro-Nox and lidocaine. The PRP is then injected with a fine needle. A visit takes about 1 hour, including the blood draw.

What to Expect With the OMG-Shot
Here are the steps, from your first conversation to aftercare.
Before Treatment
It starts with a free consultation, where we go over your history and medications. Only pause blood thinners, aspirin or NSAIDs if your doctor says it’s OK, and please don’t book during your period or while you have an active infection.
During Treatment
After the blood draw and PRP preparation, numbing is applied and the injections take a short time. A visit takes about 1 hour, including the blood draw.
After Treatment
Avoid sex, intense exercise and intravaginal products for 24 to 48 hours. Spotting or sensitivity can last 1 to 2 days, and you can return to your normal routine the same day. Possible side effects are temporary spotting, swelling, tenderness or bruising at the injection or blood-draw site. We’ll send you home with written aftercare instructions.

Any changes are gradual, and there’s no set timeline. Most people start with 1 session, and some may need more. Touch-ups are available as needed. Results vary from person to person, and no result can be promised.
Is the OMG-Shot Right for You?
The OMG-Shot may be worth discussing if you have intimate-area concerns and want to understand all of your options, including what is and isn’t known about PRP. It isn’t for everyone. It may not be a fit if you have an active vaginal infection or open sores, are pregnant or nursing, have a platelet disorder or an autoimmune condition that affects how you recover, or take certain blood thinners (which may need a pause).
